Confirm your address to open your space: the verification link arrives by email, never by SMS.
Your account exists from the moment you sign up, but your space stays closed until your email address is confirmed: no booking, no appointment list. Opening it takes one move: open the link noresia sends to your address, then press the button the page shows. That link goes out automatically when you create your account.
noresia writes to you by email, and by email only. The verification link, the forgotten password link and the appointment reminders you keep switched on all go to your email address. No message is ever sent to you by SMS, and no code is ever read out to you over the phone.
The phone number saved on your account is there for the clinic, which may call you about an appointment. It is never used to sign you in, and it never receives anything from noresia.
So choose an address you genuinely open, on your phone as well as on your computer. Everything else appears inside your space and, if you allow it, on your browser: see manage your notifications.
Open the verification email
It comes from Noresia and its subject reads « Vérifiez votre adresse email ». That message is written in French.
Press the "Confirm my address" button
The link opens the confirmation page, which waits for your press. Until you press the button nothing is consumed and the link stays usable.
Pick up where you left off
Confirming signs you in straight away and takes you back to the booking you were making, or to your space if you had not started one.
If two-factor sign-in is switched on for your account, the address is confirmed the same way, and the verification code from your app is then asked for before your space opens. That protection is described in protecting your account.
Look in your junk mail first. It is by far the most common case, and asking for another link would change nothing: the next message would be filed in the same place. Search your whole mailbox for "Noresia", junk folder included.
If you find it there, mark the message as trusted: the emails that follow will then land in your inbox.
Then check the address itself. One missing letter is enough to send the link somewhere else, and the verification screen lets you correct it before sending again.
If you sign in without having confirmed your address, noresia takes you straight to the "Confirm your email." screen. The "Email address" field is already filled with your account address and stays editable: correct it if it is wrong, then press "Send the verification link".
After the send, the screen shows "Link sent" followed by the address it went to. The button becomes "Send the link again", and "Correct the address" reopens the field if you want to aim at another mailbox.
One send is allowed every 60 seconds. While you wait, the button stays inactive and counts down: it reads "Send again in 45 s", for example, then turns usable again on its own.
If the corrected address already belongs to another account, the line "This address is already used by another account. Choose a different one." appears under the field and nothing is changed. The "Sign out" button at the bottom of the screen lets you leave for another account.
You can ask for a link without opening a session: the same page, /patient/verify-email, then shows the single "Email address" field. A quick check confirms you are not a robot, and "Send the verification link" starts the send.
The answer is always the same: "Check your inbox", followed by "If an account exists for this address, a verification link has just been sent." noresia never says whether an address has an account, so that nobody can find that out in your place.
If your address is already confirmed, no link is needed: the line "Address already confirmed ·" and its "Sign in" link take you back to signing in.
| Situation | What the page does |
|---|---|
| The link is more than 24 hours old | It opens nothing any more, ask for a new one |
| The link has already been used | A link works only once |
| You asked for a more recent link | Only the latest email you received still works |
| The account address changed | Confirmation starts again on the new address |
When a link does not go through, the page shows the panel "This link can no longer be used". noresia cannot tell an expired link from an already-used one, and the message says so plainly instead of guessing. The "Send a new link" button takes you back to the verification screen, and when the failure happens after you press "Confirm my address", a resend field appears on the spot, without leaving the page.
Once your address is confirmed, your space opens in full: booking an appointment, following your appointments and managing your family members all become possible again, and the verification screen stops appearing.
There is one exception: if you change your email address from your profile, the new address has to be confirmed in turn, and a link leaves for it immediately. The steps are the ones described on this page. The change itself is explained in updating your profile.
