What noresia counts when an appointment is cancelled or missed, the temporary pauses that follow, and the way back to an account in good standing.
An appointment booked and then left empty holds a place nobody else could take. So noresia follows two things only: the cancellations you make yourself, and the absences the clinic records. When they repeat, online booking is paused for a while, then it reopens. This is a state of your account, temporary and reversible, never a judgement on you.
The counter follows your noresia account, not one clinic in particular. A cancellation in Algiers and an absence in Oran land in the same counter.

That last line carries as much weight as the others. An absence recorded in error is corrected, and the correction wipes it from the counter. If you were there and your appointment reads "Did not attend", tell the clinic: it alone holds that mark.
Changing the time without losing anything is possible. Ask the clinic to move the appointment rather than cancelling it and booking another one. The way to do it is set out in move an appointment.
The counter goes up by one on every cancellation and every absence. At five it reaches a step, then it starts again from zero.

The first pause lifts on its own at the stated hour: you have nothing to ask for and nothing to write. Your space shows the date and time it ends, and you book normally again as soon as it has passed.
The second step pauses the account itself. Signing in closes with it, and the sign-in page answers that the account is suspended. Your upcoming appointments stay recorded at the clinic all the same: call it, and it asks for the account to be restored.
A visit you attend, at any of your clinics, brings the counter back to zero. It is the only reset you cause yourself, and it is immediate: as soon as the clinic marks "Attended", your space shows zero.
Reaching a step also sets the counter back to zero, but it remembers the step already reached. That memory is what decides what comes next if the counter climbs to five again.
An account holds at most 12 appointments in progress at the same time, across all clinics together. In progress means appointments in the "Awaiting confirmation" state and appointments in the "Confirmed" state.
On the thirteenth, booking stops and shows "The limit is 12 appointments in progress. Cancel one, or wait for it to happen." A place frees up as soon as an appointment is attended or cancelled.
Alongside the noresia counter, every clinic sets its own tolerance for absences, in its settings. Three settings make it up.
The threshold triggers nothing on its own. It files a request in the team's queue, and a person at the clinic decides to follow it or to close it. These three settings belong to the clinic and are not shown in your space. To learn its own, contact it directly: its number is on its page.
While a restriction is in place, booking online at that clinic answers you by naming the reason, for example "This clinic has restricted your online bookings after several missed appointments. Contact it directly: it can book your appointment and lift the restriction." In review mode you book as usual, but each appointment opens in the "Awaiting confirmation" state and waits for the clinic's approval, as the appointment confirmation describes. In the other mode the pause lasts 72 hours and lifts on its own, and a message reaches your space when it does.
At the top of your space and of your appointments page, a block headed "Account standing" gathers all these counters. It is there so you see a pause coming, instead of discovering it at the moment you book.
On one side, the standing sentence: "Account in good standing", "Limit almost reached", "A hold is close", "Booking on hold" or "Account on hold", followed by a line naming what comes next.
On the other side, four counters, each in front of its limit.

Under each counter, a sentence names the next step, for example "2 more before a 72-hour hold." or "Limit reached. An attended or cancelled appointment frees a place."
A closing band, "Appointments in total", sums up your record in four numbers: "Upcoming", "Attended", "Cancellations · absences" and "Expired".
When a limit stops a booking, the journey shows the rule at work rather than a flat refusal.

The same logic applies when you cancel, before you confirm: the dialog reminds you that "Every cancellation or absence counts toward a temporary pause on your booking.", then the result tells you what is left, for example "You have 2 cancellations or absences left before a pause." Read the end date in your space
The Account standing block shows "Booking on hold" and gives the day and hour it lifts. Nothing is asked of you before that moment.
Keep the appointments you already hold
The pause does not touch them. Come to the visits already planned: that is what will set the counter back to zero.
Book again once the pause has passed
The journey reopens without asking anything more of you. Start again from book an appointment.
Call the clinic if the pause is on the account
A pause on the account does not lift on its own. The clinic asks for it to be restored, and you then recover your sign-in and your appointments.
Every change in your account's standing is notified to you, in your space and by email if you kept that on. You choose what you receive from manage your notifications.
