Your space keeps a register of everything that happens to your appointments. Here is how to read it, empty it and choose which channels reach you.
Every confirmation, every reminder and every cancellation that touches your appointments leaves a trace in your space, on the « Notifications » page. That register is always on: nothing switches it off, and it stays readable even when nothing reaches you anywhere else. What you choose is what comes to find you away from this page, by email or through a browser alert.
The « Notifications » tab sits in the bar of your space, between « My family » and « Profile ». A dot lights up beside its name as soon as one notification is unread, at any of your clinics.
The page comes in two parts. « Feed » lists your notifications, newest first, with the unread count beside the heading. « Notification channels », further down, gathers your settings: what reaches you away from this page.
The feed shows 20 notifications per page, and « Previous » and « Next » appear as soon as there are more. Your space keeps the 100 most recent notifications, and the oldest ones clear themselves as new ones arrive.
The feed sorts your notifications into three groups by date: « Today », « This week » and « Earlier ». An unread row carries a dot before its title and a « Mark as read » button under its text. At the end of the row you read the time for today's notifications, and the short date for the others.
Two moves are enough to mark a notification as read.
A read notification stays in the feed. It loses its dot and its button, and nothing else changes.
As long as nothing has reached you yet, the page shows « No notifications » and the sentence « Confirmations and reminders for your appointments appear here. » The first row arrives with your first booking.
Both buttons sit at the top of the page, beside the heading. Each one appears only when it has something to do: the first as soon as an unread notification is on the open page, the second as soon as an already-read one is there.
Press « Mark everything as read »
Every notification turns read in one move, across all the pages of the feed and all your clinics. A short message confirms « Every notification is read. » and the dot on the tab goes out.
Press « Delete the read notifications »
A window opens and states what is about to happen: « The notifications you have already read will be permanently deleted. » Closing that window deletes nothing.
Confirm with « Delete »
Every read notification leaves the feed at once. The unread ones stay in place, and the button disappears while there is nothing left to delete.
The « Notification channels » block, at the bottom of the page, decides what comes to find you away from your space. Three channels exist, and only two of them can be set.
| Channel | What it does | Can be set |
|---|---|---|
| In the app | The feed on this page. Always on, it is the register you are reading. | No |
| Reminders and confirmations also arrive by email. | Yes, on from the start | |
| Push notifications | An alert on this device, even with the app closed. | Yes, off from the start |
Scroll down to « Notification channels »
The « In the app » row has no switch. It carries a line instead: « Always on · it is the register you are reading on this page. »
Flip « Email » or « Push notifications »
The word beside the switch moves to « On » or to « Off », and the setting holds for your next notifications. Your preferences save themselves: the page says so under the block, « Your preferences are saved automatically. »
Read the message when a setting does not go through
The switch returns to its previous position on its own and a sentence appears under the row to say what is missing. Nothing is saved halfway.
Email is the channel that works everywhere. It depends on no browser, no permission to grant and no particular device in your hand: it reaches your inbox wherever you open it. That is why it is on from the moment your account is created. If you keep a single channel away from the feed, keep that one.
Not every notification goes out by email. The feed on this page receives all of them. Email carries what cannot wait until you open the page: the reminder sent 24 hours before the visit, a cancellation decided by the clinic, a change to the agreed price, a closure that affects your appointment, a request that expires without an answer, and the messages announcing a temporary pause on your bookings. An appointment confirmation, for its part, shows in the feed and on your devices when push is on.
| What you see | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Nothing arrives by email | Check that the « Email » switch is on « On », then look in your junk folder. The address that receives is the one on your profile. |
| Nothing arrives on the device | « Push notifications » is set per browser and per device. Turn the switch back on where you want the alerts. |
| A notification vanished from the feed | The feed keeps the 100 most recent ones. « Delete the read notifications » also removes the rows you had read. |
| The dot on the tab stays lit | An unread notification is waiting, sometimes on another page of the feed. The « Mark everything as read » button shows as soon as an unread row is visible. |
To change the address that receives your emails, go through updating your profile. The notifications that announce a temporary pause are explained in absences and limits. To read the state of each appointment, see following your appointments, and to understand the message that follows a booking, read the appointment confirmation.
