No button changes the time of an appointment from your space. Two routes exist: call the clinic, or cancel and book again.
Your space does not change the time of an appointment already booked. On an upcoming line it shows only "Directions" and "Cancel": nothing offers another time. Two routes stay open, and they are not equal. Calling the clinic moves the appointment itself. Cancelling and booking again closes one appointment and opens another, and it counts as a cancellation.
A time belongs to the practitioner's calendar. Moving it means giving your slot back and taking another one that is genuinely free for that practitioner, that service and that duration. The clinic's team keeps that calendar and has that view.
noresia does not open this operation to you online. It is neither a hidden setting nor an option reserved for some clinics: no page, no email and no link changes the time of an appointment on your behalf. So take one of the two routes described below.
This is the route to prefer. The clinic moves the existing appointment to a slot genuinely free for the practitioner. It is the same appointment changing time: it never leaves your list, and nothing is counted on your account.
Open the clinic's page
Its number sits under "Call the clinic". Some clinics also add "Message on WhatsApp" and their website address. To find the page again, see reading a clinic page.
Give the date, the time and the practitioner
Those three details are enough to find the right line in the calendar, and your space shows them on the appointment concerned. Then say which days and which times would suit you.
Check the new time in your space
As soon as the clinic has moved the appointment, a notification tells you so and the line carries the new date. Following it is described in following your appointments.
A clinic that has published neither a number nor a website leaves no way to reach it on its page. Only the second route is left to you then.
This second route moves nothing. The "Cancel" button on the line opens a confirmation window, which you close with "Keep the appointment" or with "Cancel for good". You then book as you did the first time, through "Book an appointment" on the clinic's page. The whole path is described in booking an appointment.
Look at the clinic's calendar before cancelling anything. A time that suits you has to be on offer there already, otherwise you give your slot back and get nothing in exchange.
| What changes | Calling the clinic | Cancelling and booking again |
|---|---|---|
| The appointment | The same appointment moves to another time | The old one closes, a new one is created |
| Your account | Nothing is counted | One cancellation is counted |
| When you can ask | Possible even on the day of the appointment | Online only before the clinic's deadline |
| The time you get | Agreed with the clinic in the call | Whatever the calendar still offers |
Cancelling online stays open only until the deadline each clinic sets, most often 24 hours before the time booked. Your next appointment carries that deadline in plain words, with the number of hours that clinic uses.
Past that deadline, the "Cancel" button opens the same window in its "Too late to cancel online" state, which offers you "Call the clinic" and, when the clinic has published it, WhatsApp. The telephone then becomes the only route, both to move and to give up the slot.
Tell the clinic even when it is late. A slot given back in time serves somebody else, whereas an absence recorded on site counts on your account exactly as a cancellation does. If you can no longer come at all, read cancelling an appointment.
