In Algeria, law 18-07 governs the processing of personal data, and health data is among the most protected within it. Whoever collects it must be able to say why, for how long, and who has access.

The questions you have a right to ask

Of any platform or institution holding your data :

• What data do you hold about me?
• What exactly is it used for?
• Who can consult it?
• How long do you keep it?
• How can I have it corrected or deleted?

What your clinic guarantees, on Noresia

Your clinic collects, through Noresia, only the minimum needed to arrange an appointment : name, email address, phone, and the appointments themselves. Only your clinic has access : each clinic stays sealed off from the others on the platform. Your data serves your appointments, never advertising.

Exercising your rights, concretely

Write to the institution where you have the appointment, or to the platform, setting out your request, access, correction or deletion, and the phone number linked to your record. An identity check is normal : it is precisely what protects your data from a request made by someone else.

Medical confidentiality remains the rule

Going digital does not change the principle : what you confide to a carer is covered by medical confidentiality. A serious platform extends it technically, through encryption, separation and logged access, instead of weakening it.
